PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Sales Executive is responsible for sales of Database & Technology solutions. HANA is one of the most strategically important areas of growth for SAP and generally cited as the number one initiatives for most CIOs (Source: Gartner).

While SAP has a very large installed base this role should be considered a 'high energy' new business role (Hunter). The territory contains significant and important SAP installed base accounts.

This role is a product specialist sales role working in conjunction with our industry AE team.
The Sales Executive needs to create and implement a plan that generates 3x their quota in un-weighted pipeline opportunity and maintain 2x short-term cover of weighted pipeline and to achieve revenue targets.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
* Achieving personal revenue targets
* Territory planning to ensure pipeline is added and progressed
* Selling Database & Technology solutions
* Acting as an evangelist for HANA solution - primarily with customers but also internally
* Working in a virtual account team environment
* Leveraging our strong partner and internal consulting channels
* Harnessing company-wide marketing and demand generation activities
* Maintaining internal CRM systems as the Opportunity Owner
* Enabling wider Virtual Account Teams to assist in achieving personal targets
* Driving sales opportunities within the defined territory
* Communicating across multiple sales management lines of business on pipeline status
* Use Value Based selling
* Closing sales opportunities to achieve quarterly targets
* Negotiating commercials when acting as the sole opportunity lead

WORK EXPERIENCE
* 5 - 10 years track record selling enterprise Data Warehouse
* 5-10 years experience in a large, multi national software/technology organization
* Familiarity and in-depth knowledge of the software market of the assigned solution
* Proven track record in capturing market share, and growing a profitable sales business
* Working with senior customer stakeholders
* Fluent English and local language skills

- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
- Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
- Other duties as assigned.
